Sungai Besi LRT station is a LRT station in Sungai Besi situated at Kuala Lumpur city centre. This station was opened in 1996, along with 17 other LRT stations in Sri Petaling station. The station is within walking distance to Sungai Besi Police Station and Sungai Besi town. It is also facing Sungai Besi post office. Besides that, the station features curved roofs supported by latticed frames, and white plastered walls and pillars. There is only stairways at this stations and not suitable for disabled users. In addition, prayer room and convenience stores are also available here.

By Kuala Lumpur city centre, it takes around half an hour by using Kuala Lumpur-Seremban highway to Sungai Besi LRT station.

By Train

There are trains from KL Sentral every 30 minutes to Sungai Besi LRT station and you also can access Sungai Besi LRT station from any line from LRT line.

By Bus

Sungai Besi LRT station is accessible via RapidKL bus route no U42. The bus route has been extended to Sungai Besi LRT station from 16 November 2009 and covers all Kuala Lumpur destinations.

KL Bird Park

Created in 1991, KL Bird Park covers around 20.9-acre area, which was first opened in 1991 and a part of extremely large lake garden at Kuala Lumpur called Perdana Botanical Gardens. The garden consists of artificial lake, the National Monument, the Kuala Lumpur Butterfly Park, the Deer Park, Orchid and Hibiscus gardens, and the former Malaysia Parliament House. It is also considered the world’s largest covered bird park and home to more than 3,000 birds from 200 species all over the world. The free-flight, walk-in aviary has over 60 species of local and foreign birds, including the Indian blue peacock, with its colourful five-foot train, and the crowned pigeon. This park is open daily from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.

KL Tower

The KL Tower has a height of 421 metres and acts as telecommunications and broadcasting tower located nearby Petronas Twin Towers. This tower has an observation deck, where visitors can manage to get a bird's eye view of the city. It ranks fourth amongst the tallest telecommunications towers in the world and was constructed over a period of four years and completed in May 1996. Besides that, it consists of restaurants such as Atmosphere 360 serving local and international cuisines.
