The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur

The original Hotel Majestic was designed by the Dutch architectural firm Keyes and Dowdeswell for the Trustees of the Estate of Loke Wan Tho in 1932. The 51 room hotel sat on a imperious hilltop site facing KL railway station. The roof garden was a special feature, with a dance floor and seating for 350 guests. In its glory days, The Hotel Majestic was the greatest and most impressive hotel in Kuala Lumpur, unsurpassed for its reputation and extravagance.
