Kellie's Castle is a castle that located in Batu Gajah, Kinta District, Perak, Malaysia. It is also known as Kellie’s Folly. The unfinished mansion, was built by a Scottish planter named William Kellie Smith. Kellie's Castle is situated beside the Raya River (Sungai Raya), which is a tributary to the Kinta River. Six storey tower was built for the mansion, with magnificent columns and even a wine cellar. There was also to be a rooftop courtyard for holding parties and an elevator which was at that time, the first in the country of Malaysia. It was even used as a setting in the 1999 film Anna and the King. Today, the mansion had been rediscovered. The mansion still stands tall until now. This symbolizes the pioneering spirit of the early colonialists and the romanticism of a bygone era. How to Get There

Kellie's Castle is situated near Batu Gajah in Perak. It is about 20 minutes drive from the city of Ipoh, the capital of Perak. Kellie's Castle is located route to Batu Gajah town at the Kinta Kellas Rubber Estate. It is approximately 30 minutes by car and about 14 kilometers from Ipoh.

It also functions in promoting education and tourism to the rest of the world through telling the story of Ipoh.

Kek Lok Tong Cave Temple and Zen Gardens

The Kek Lok Tong Cave Temple is a tourist attraction situated in the natural and picturesque area of Gunung Rapat in the south of Ipoh - the capital of Perak state in west Malaysia. The cave temple sits on a 12-acre site and was used as early as 1920 as a place of worship. In 1960, the cave became part of an iron mining site, this temple is set in a huge cave in the limestone outcrops behind Gunung Rapat, about 5km south of Ipoh City. The most unique about the caves is there are another great garden view once you get inside the caves. The limestone hill is made up of light grey to white crystalline Kinta limestone interbedded with about 5mm to 1cm think argillaceous material bands. Primary iron can still be seen within the limestone. There is a jogging path circling two lakes and one of the longest reflexology footpaths in Ipoh.
