How to Get There

By Car

People driving from Kuala Lumpur may drive via North-South Highway/E1 for immediate access to Ipoh Parade Mall. The journey could take up to two hours and twenty minutes depending on the current traffic situation.

By Train

The nearest train station is the Ipoh train station. From Kuala Lumpur International Airport, visitors can catch the Express Rail Link (ERL) train which goes to KL Sentral/Bandar Tasik Putrajaya/Cyberjaya/Salak Tinggi/KLIA route. There, one can board the Electric Train Services (ETS) northbound coach and stop by the mentioned station before opting for taxi or bus to go around to reach the landmark.

By Bus

The nearest express bus terminal is the Amanjaya terminal which is located in 1, Persiaran Meru Raya 5. Take the trip directly to Ipoh Amanjaya from Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) terminal using express bus services such as Sri Maju Express or KKKL before opting for local buses to go to the mall.

Sam Poh Tong

A Chinese Buddhist temple built within a limestone cave, Sam Poh Tong is a popular attraction in Gunung Rapat which is about five kilometres south of Ipoh town. Being the oldest and the biggest cave temple in the country, Sam Poh Tong is definitely a majestic work of art with various statues of Buddha being placed among the stalactites and stalagmite. Legends say that the cave was discovered in 1890 by a monk from China who was passing through Ipoh who decided to make it his home and a place for meditation. He stayed twenty years later till his death, while the legacy runs strong today within the monks and nuns dedicating themselves to the temple.
