This trail covers many interesting places and historical building along Armenian Street, Lebuh Cannon, Weld Quay, Lebuh Pantai and Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling. It really doesn't matter which route you take as there is always something to discover in every direction, be it a well preserved row of shophouses, a grand colonial building, an ornate clan house, a majestic mosque or cosy restaurants. This magnificent townhouse is the former residence and office of Chinese Kapitan Chung Keng Kwee. Built at the end of 19 th century by Hakka tin-miner and secret society leader of Hai San, this museum is filled with 1,000 pieces of antiques and collectibles. Note that this museum is also open during public holidays. Also, guests need to make prior arrangements for conducted tours and the viewing of the mansion. It is open for visiting from 9.30 am to 5 pm from Monday to Sunday and the entrance fee is RM20 per adult. Discounts are available for school bookings and other large groups.
