After seeing the reviews of other guests, I was a bit scared to bring my family to this staycation. But when I actually checked in/my stay things aren't that bad and actually me and my family quite like this hotel.- Booked 4 rooms for 3d2n.- Check in was seamless fast/efficient just need get everyone's ID and the key is ready. Staff explained to us the details such as free parking/booking of pools limit to 5 guest/- As our rooms got is without breakfast staff explained to us that is $ 10 per person. So we gave it a try for 1D. -When we stepped into our rooms we were quite happy first thing first, room with Singapore flyer view.- Rooms' TV with Netflix! -Rooms are clean and although was a bit old but I must say is big + clean! - Room amenities that they even provide hotel slippers/cotton stick/body lotion!- I must say that for the location/room size and cleanliness is most important definitely I will come back to this hotel again! My experience/stay was definitely a pleasant one. Things are not really that bad from what other guest review la. Maybe different people different expectations. But I find it good. Will definitely be back again soon!

It was worth every cent!!! The hotel’s located right above Outram MRT Station. And there’s so many restaurants within walking distance. You can actually go to Chinatown within 7-10 minutes by strolling slowly. Most importantly, it is only 1 station away from Harborfront if you need to travel through the ferry terminal, and you can go to Changi Airport by traveling from Outram MRT. Best location ever.

Good comfortable stay at Hotel Mono. Location is in the vicinity of a variety of F&B options, not just Chinatown but walking distance from Tg Pagar, Telok Ayer etc. Special shoutout to great customer service from Spencer. He went the extra mile to get us a HDMI cable for the TV that we could use for the entire stay.

The hotel is a budget hotel, with a very small rooms. However, the room was filled with all the amenities we need, there is an electric kettle, toiletries, and spacious beds. We stayed here with 4 grown-ups and 2 kids, and the beds accommodated us very well. The room was also very clean, the AC was cool, and the bathroom/toilet was adequate with a good hot water supply. They even gave us complimentary soda and coffee/tea, and mineral water. Really great. We had a great night staying here.

Clean enough and easy access to public transportation like MRT. For Muslim, it is also convenience cause mosque infront of this hostel. But, I was struggling with bathroom cause it is shared-bathroom. When a lot of guest, I need to wait until its available.

Good location, but not worth the price for facilities. I was in the upper bed without the curtain so no privacy. No lock in the storage, you have to bring your own. Cleanliness was disappointed, hot water will be down during peak hour in the shower

Oasia Hotel Downtown, Singapore, by Far East Hospitality

Location: 100 Peck Seah Street, Tanjong Pagar, Central Business District, Singapore, 079333

If you’re visiting Chinatown, it is hard to miss this red tower in green. Standing tall in the heart of Singapore’s dense Central Business District (CBD), Oasia Hotel Downtown is unlike your other ordinary hotels near Chinatown. This tropical tower is very easy to spot, especially from the blocks of low-rising shophouses. Popular attractions within walking distance include Singapore City Gallery, Red Dot Design Museum, and Chinatown Heritage Centre. Tanjong Pagar MRT Station is within walking distance from the property, alongside many shopping malls and culinary centers.

Designed by Singapore’s well-acclaimed architecture firm of WOHA, the property offers an alternative image against the usual urban landscape of concrete, steel, and glass. It is impressive that they could compensate for the lack of green in 10 surrounding buildings into this 27-story scenic skyscraper. The hotel showcases 314 sleek guest rooms styled by designer Patricia Urquiola. Starting from S$240 to S$340 per night, the room space is adequate at 23 sqm and 28 sqm respectively. Featuring a floor-to-ceiling window, the room can be elongated even more by a clever use of tinted sliding door that separates the room from the bathroom. Each room comes with air conditioning, flat-screen television, in-room safe, ironing board, coffee maker, and bathroom amenities. Hotel services provided are laundry service, luggage storage, room service, multilingual staff, concierge, money changer, business service, and wedding service.

Our favourite features while staying in the middle of a vibrant neighbourhood are the rooms’ view options. Some rooms offer a direct view of CBD's tight skylines on one side and rich-in-culture shophouses on the other. Besides its iconic infinity pool, this hotel near Chinatown also offers two incredible mirrored swimming pools located at the 27th level rooftop, beautifully decorated with 21 different species of creepers and vines. Hotel facilities also include a well-equipped fitness center and wellness center with various classes you can join like a rejuvenating yoga session or a body massage to end the day.

The hotel also provides in house restaurants you cannot miss. For a staple dining choice, their well-established dine Italian restaurant OSO Ristorante will never fail you. Lastly, complete your stay in Oasia Hotel Downtown by trying The Marmalade Pantry’s popular cupcakes and Cin Cin Bar’s cocktails.

Besides the convenient location, many guests are loving the room design, staff assistance, and cleanliness throughout the property. Stay smart (pun intended) in Oasia Hotel Downtown, Singapore’s finest.
