This is one of the natural wonders in the district of Dungun. Chemerong Waterfall located deeply in the land of Dungun, some 40 kilometres away from the two main roads; one from Ajil-Bukit Besi road and the other one Jabor-Al Mukhtafi Billah Shah road. Chemerong Waterfall is still pristinely preserved waterfalls, thus making it a perfect place for natureโs lovers. The site is also a great place for camping or having a picnic with family and friends, but do make a preparation ahead as the closest shop is quite far out from the waterfall. The beautiful waterfall has a huge, crystal clear pool, perfect for swimming. It is also surrounded by lush tropical forest, providing fresh air to the area. The Chemerong Waterfall opens every day to everyone except during the monsoon season, usually starting November until the end of January, sometimes up to March. The Forestry Department closes the area during monsoon season as it can be very dangerous.
