Cleanroom, good health protocol, clean swimming pool, a wide range of breakfast variety and delicious too but I think my favorite beef sausage was no longer served. That's OK though. Top-notch food. The car park is located in a building behind the hotel, quite far but you can ask for a free valet. Attentive staff like Andika, imam the security guy, well so many I can't write it down here. You guys are awesome! This hotel is highly recommended for sure!

The second time I stayed at Batiqa. The first one is for business and this time for exploring Surabaya. Overall so great! The staff at the lobby was very helpful in handling my problem with the room key. And of course, the food at the rooftop is awesome! Especially the Nasi Goreng Batiqa 🔥 Very recommended! Good and affordable hotel nearby to Surabaya Gubeng Station (17-20 mins by walk). Easy to catch Grab Bike, near to convenience store of 1-2 minutes walk. The bed are comfy and suitable for a short 2-3 nights. The breakfast variety are adequate but sufficient. The staffs are friendly and helpful.

Overall an okay stay, but here are some points that made me give only 2 stars.- Underwhelming breakfast. Not enough variety of menu for a 3-star hotel. No bread, no egg station, no cereals, which should be available at least for a 3-star hotel. Also, foods were not refilled quickly enough. Many guests were left with empty food trays and limited choice of breakfast menu.- Poor room service. Asked for the menu, never came.- Towels were not available in the swimming pool. But not without positives. Staffs were friendly, rooms were spacious and fairly clean with good amenities. Location wise, it ' s located a little bit in the outskirt of Surabaya. If it ' s not for the negatives that I mentioned, the price is reasonable. They make it feel a little bit not worth it.
