The story begins with Shinta who was kidnapped by Ravana and taken prisoner in the Alengka Kingdom. She felt so sad and longing for her husband, Rama. In her solitude, Shinta actually felt Ravana's love for her. This was because Ravana treated Shinta like a queen and never touched her.

Then Anoman came as Rama's messenger to save him. Shinta was so happy because there was hope that she would meet Rama again. But on the other hand, he thought why Rama himself wasn't the one who saved him. This made Shinta confused about who loved her more sincerely, Rama or Ravana.

In the end, Shinta chose to be loyal to her husband, Rama. However, in reality, Rama and the people of Ayodya doubted his holiness. He felt so sad and disappointed. Shinta was forced to burn herself in the fire to prove her purity. Thanks to his honesty and loyalty, he survived the fire.
