White Water Rafting Kuala Kubu Bharu is an experience unlike any other, a landmark renowned for its amazing white water rafting activity offering at Selangor River. It is located at Kampung Paya, Kuala Kubu Bharu, Hulu Selangor at the northeastern part of the Selangor state which is about an hour and ten minutes away if driving from the state capital of Shah Alam. It is such a perfect spot since the location is where the Selangor River is sourced from, with rafting trips suitable for all walks of life, be it singles, couples, families and groups, as well as covering all abilities and ages, from as young as eight to as elderly as 88 years old, albeit the young ones need to be accompanied by their legal guardians.

How to Get There

By Car

People driving from Kuala Lumpur may drive via Route 1 or North – South Expressway / E1 for an almost immediate access to White Water Rafting Kuala Kubu Bharu. The journey could take up around one hour or so depending on the current traffic situation.

By Train

The train lines providing access to White Water Rafting Kuala Kubu Bharu are the KTM Tanjung Malim coach line which stops at Kuala Kubu Bharu station. From the centralized KL Sentral station, take the train from the mentioned line and drop at Kuala Kubu Bharu station before opting for bus, taxi or alternative transport services to go to the said landmark.

By Bus

There are no major express bus terminal around the area, but there are some bus stops in town while the closest one is in Rawang town. Take the trip directly to Rawang from Kuala Lumpur Pudu Sentral terminal using bus services such as Metrobus. From here, hop on a local route bus to Tanjung Malim and drop by the bus stops to reach White Water Rafting Kuala Kubu Bharu.

A lesser known hot springs located in the Taman Arif area of Kuala Kubu Bharu which is about thirty minutes of walking from the landmark, the hot springs is just recently discovered for about a decade ago and has been popular with the locals ever since. In recent years, the district council has increased efforts to further promote the area by building two gazebos for shade and a small building for toilets. Admissions are free and the area is open day and night.
