Mount Senyum

Mount Senyum are located in Pahang about 45 minute drive from Temerloh. It also can be reached by road from Jerantut. This mountain lies near Pahang River and nearby Mount Senyum recreational forest. According to folks, Gunung Senyum means Smiling Mountain because the Pahang Sultan asked about the name of the mountain to the princes who accompanied him. However, no one knows about it but the magnifiers are only able to smile. Mount Senyum is made up of limestone and rock estimated to be around 3,000 years old and the lowlands on the east is made of mudstone and shale estimated at around 2,100 years old. There are many smaller caves linked together by passageways like Gua Terang Bulan, Gua Angin, Gua Gajah and Gua Taman. It is a limestone outcrop which rises sharply 478 metres above the surrounding countryside. Visitors can park their cars at available car park. Besides the car park, there are facilities available for visitors such as a park management office, a food stall, campsite, toilets and surau. As a reminder, first aid kit, good shoes and extra clothes are among the essentials to bring during hiking this mountain.

Esplanade Park

The Temerloh Esplanade Park was originally known as Temerloh's Day Week located on the coast of Pahang River near Patin Square. This park is packed with people every Sunday morning where many stalls can be found at Pekan Sehari Temerloh. In the evening, many visitors come to watch the beautiful scenery of Pahang River and the Semantan River while eating under the old trees. Activities that visitors can enjoy here are boating to enjoy the beauty of the Pahang River, relaxing by the river and also crossing the Pahang River to the crater village. In addition to boat facilities, there are also food stalls for guests to relax on the banks of the Pahang River. The bridge links the Esplanade Temerloh as Tower A to the Plateau of Patin as Tower B has a height of 40.22 metres and the length is 86 meters and can be travelled 3-4 people at a time.
