Limbang Airport is an airport situated beside Mas Hill or Bukit Mas which is about 3 minutes or distance around 4.8 kilometres from the town of Limbang. This airport was opened on the 15 th July 2004 and serves Limbang town which is in the state of Sarawak, Malaysia. It is capable of handling 250,000 passengers per year and handle large turboprop aircraft such as Fokker F50 and the ATR 72-500.  It is known as a Short Take-Off and Landing (STOL) port and has a single runway around 1,500 metre long and currently serves Malaysia Airport and Malaysia Airlines wings. The old Limbang Short Take Off and Landing (STOL) was built in 1963 by the British Army for use during the confrontation between Malaysia and Indonesia. The old airfield did not meet the safety requirements of International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). In addition, the former airfield was surrounded by mountains and the approach path was covered by tall vegetation such as trees, combined with the high ground. This makes it particularly harmful and difficult for civilian aircraft to operate safely into and out of the airfield. Other operators running at this airport include Medevac and logging helicopters, and private turboprop powered aircraft. Among the users of the airport were Malaysia Airlines and former Air Asia subsidiary FAX (Fly Asian Express).

Limbang Regional Museum

This small museum is located at Limbang town and features amazing exhibits on Limbang Division’s archaeology, culture and crafts, including Chinese ceramic jars that were a symbol of status and wealth for Orang Ulu communities. There are many forms of symbols in here that were passed down by ancestors. It was originally built in 1897 during Charles Brooke’s era and rebuilt in 1991 due to fire incident. Nowadays, people will come here for educational and research purposes.

Chinese Night Market

This hawker area at the city of Limbang comprises mainly of ten stalls selling quick and flavoursome bites which are Limbang’s speciality such as kolo mee (RM5) and wonton mee (RM5) and fresh juices (RM4) like orange, carrot and other juices made fresh at the stall. This place will surely trigger your appetite and visitors will come again and again.

Pusat Penjaja Medan Bangkita

This market sells many crops and jungle food freshly taken and grown at home. Among the ethnics here are Bisaya, Lun Bawang and Iban stallholders which sell jungle edible food, sausage-shaped Ba Kelalan salt and a dozen kinds of upland rice. There is a larger market that takes place all-day Thursday and until noon on Friday. This market has attract many visitors locally and internationally.
