The best thing about the resort would be the staff. From the front desk to the ones manning the restaurants, they did a very good job. Very quick check in, prompt services with the food, nothing much to complain about the services from the staff.

Teluk Cempedak or Teluk Chempedak or in English is Cempedak Bay which is also known as Palm Beach is a beach in Kuantan, Pahang, Malaysia. Situated 5 kilometres east from the town centre in Kuantan, just north of Kuantan, where fast-food restaurants and shops attract crowds to the attractive beach, peppered with granite boulders. One of a good and reasonably priced shop that you can go at Teluk Chempedak beach is known as Song Fatt shop. The shop sells many interesting things such as kites, drinks, fruits, souvenir and tit-bits. This shop is located at the left hand side of the beach where the raised platform that leads you to another beach. There is also toilet facility provided for visitors’ convenience after your time at the beach. Other than that, there are many food stalls that serve a variety of food and beverages. Other restaurants are also opened until after midnight during the weekends such as McDonald and KFC restaurant as well as the 24-hour convenience store 7-Eleven is also located nearby.

How to Get There

By Car

From Kuala Lumpur, it takes around 4 hours and 30 minutes to reach teluk Cempedak by using Segamat-Kuantan highway. If you are coming from the town centre, go towards the east direction to Jalan Teluk Sisik. Go all the way to the end and you will reach Jalan Teluk Cempedak.

Natural Batik Village

Natural Batik Village is a show factory and tourist attraction that produces Batik, a local garment made from silk and embellished with floral motifs. An enterprise named Ghazali Batik founded by Ghazali bin Che Omar began with both passion and dedication to preserve our traditional Malaysian Batik culture in today's modern world. It started out as a hobby and later became a small scale business. The factory is built on 2 acres of land and comprise of batik products such as souvenirs, clothing, table cloths, scarfs and many more. They distribute and supply products made from Malaysian Batik and open everyday from 10am to 7pm. Batik fabric is one of Malaysia's most colourful textiles of traditional origin, deeply rooted in Malay culture. For an even better experience, there are Batik painting workshops open to public at a reasonable price, attracting school students, international tourists and corporate organizations.

Sin Kee Hung Shop

There is a famous Chinese shop named Sin Kee Hung which sells dried seafood. Located along the stretch of Kuantan-Gambang road, this place is by far the most popular shop among tourists who want to buy dried seafood in Kuantan. There are many fresh and preserved seafoods such as dried scallop (various sizes), dried oyster, dried shrimp, dried cuttlefish, anchovies, and the famous salted fish (Mui Heong Ham Yu). The supply of dried seafood here is cheaper compared to those in KL and visitors can bargain for a better and affordable price.
