Taman Melawati is located on the outskirt of Kuala Lumpur. It is actually located in Ulu Kelang under Gombak district, Selangor Malaysia. This place however uses the Kuala Lumpur postal code 53100 but it still remains under the state of Selangor and is under the administration by the Majlis Perbandaran Ampang Jaya (MPAJ). Previously Taman melawati was only a rubber tree estate but now it has been developed into a housing area as with all the necessary facilities of a town.

Bukit Tabur

Bukit Tabur is a prominent hill near Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 2. The hiking trail would take up to 3 -4 hours to complete. It can be divided to two sections, eastern and western section. Western section is the most commonly visited by hikers as the eastern section is more challenging and requires some skill to conquer.
