The facilities for me is all in 1 for family vacation. They provide swimming pool, gym and the breakfast was awesome. They provide vegetarian dishes also, so for me is excellent. The most valuable that the hotel is connected to the gardens mall, so it's very convenient to fulfill all our needed.

Have a very bad experience during the check in which the door cannot be opened due to the battery or some other reason, we need to go up and down for few time to complain as we cannot open the door. We asked for a new room but they refused to do so but insisted to repair it as due to the end and waited so long time but still cannot solved it, at last they changed a new room for us.

Really friendly staff, super helpful and accommodating. Loved the club room - free evening cocktails, 3pcs laundry per day and mini bar. Breakfast was good - full range of offerings and very decent cofee. The hotel is in a new part of Kuala Lumpur (Kuala Lumpur eco City) so it's surroundings are pretty quiet and empty. It's across the street from Midvalley - a good 10 minute or 10RM grab ride. Just across the street from Hassanudin Abdalah station (or something like that) on the Kelana Jaya line. Overall a very good stay. Make sure to activate your Grab app cause private car transport/cab hailing is not easily accessible around Kuala Lumpur.

About

Mid Valley City is a massive multipurpose development area located in the southwestern part of Kuala Lumpur. The plans for developing the area has started since the 1980s with the Bandar Syed Putra being coined as the initial name and the site was formerly an abattoir. Here, one can find some of the most influential shopping complexes and hotels like The Gardens shopping mall, Mid Valley Megamall, Cititel Mid Valley, The Boulevard Hotel Kuala Lumpur and the Gardens Hotels and Residences.

The place is built with the convenience of public transport accessibility, where it is easily reachable by the Mid Valley KTM station which is a couple stations away from the centralized Kuala Lumpur Sentral. There is also an effort by the management to secure permission to build links from The Gardens shopping mall to the LRT station which would further improve the accessibility of the area. In 2008, the area was awarded with MSC Malaysia Cyber Center status which enables the offices in the development to offer competitive date center rates and high-speed broadband access.

How to Get There

By Car

Tourist Attractions

Kuala Lumpur City Gallery

Easy to spot with the bright red “I LOVE KL” sign outside of its premise, the Kuala Lumpur City Gallery is simply a must-visit spot nearby the area. Originally built in 1899 during the British colonial period, the building was meant for printing government reports before being rebranded by Andrew Lee’s ARCH Group into promoting the country’s cultural heritage and one-stop tourist information center. There are galleries showcasing the faces of the city in the past, showing its humble beginnings and how the city is involved with the independence process; present, showing the development experienced and what has been achieved so far as well as ongoing developments in the future, which serves to build excitement to go around the city to have a closer look at its beauty. No entrance fee is charged, however the Spectacular City Model Show would cost about five ringgit and it is open daily from 9 am to 6.30 pm.

National Monument

Located at Jalan Parlimen which is about ten minutes away from Mid Valley City by car, the monument is a bronze sculpture built to commemorate the sacrifices being done the warriors fighting for the country’s independence, especially during the fight against the Japanese occupation during the World War II and the Malayan Emergency. The concept is originated by the first Prime Minister, Tunku Abdul Rahman, which was inspired by the Marine Corps War Memorial during his work visit to the United States in the October 1960. Designed by Felix de Weldon, an Austrian-born American sculptor, the monument is the tallest bronze sculpture in the world. As part of the celebratory ritual during the annual 31st of July’s Warrior Day, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, the Prime Minister, heads of military, and the police would pay their respect by placing garlands at the particular monument which continued till 2010.
