Happy to see kids moving around carefree. didn't expect to see various of plant in the lodge itself. Superb and great maintenance. Peaceful and serene time spent over there. Thank you for the great experience.

About

Lojing is a small district located in the Gua Musang constituency of Kelantan, Malaysia. It is also known as Lojing Highlands due to its hilly topographical village area. It is located right next to Cameron Highlands in Pahang, along the Second East-West Highway. Lojing Highlands is rich in flora and fauna and is famed for its biodiversity. Lojing’s well-preserved pristine hills and jungles are popular for eco-tourism. There are many species of high quality tropical hardwood such as teak, mahogany, chengal and meranti located in the jungles of the Lojing Highlands. Most of the people that live in the Lojing area belong to the indigenous Orang Asli tribes.

How to Get There

By Bus

From Kuala Lumpur, you can purchase bus ticket and depart at Integrated South Terminal (TBS) straight to Gua Musang. The journey will be about five hours. From Gua Musang town, hail a taxi to get you to Lojing Highlands.

Tourist Attractions

Cameron Highlands

Cameron Highlands is the smallest constituency in Pahang, yet the most extensive hill station in Malaysia. It is located about 30 kilometres away from Lojing Highlands, where people from the east usually use this route to get to Cameron Highlands. It becomes one of Malaysia’s most visited attraction centres by either locals or foreigners. Cameron Highlands is famous with its cold weather, strawberry farms, tea farms and floral garden. Other than that, it is also famous among the hikers. Mount Irau is the popular peak in Cameron Highlands where Brinchang is the starting point. The two ways journey will take up to nine hours. Brinchang is also a house to popular Mossy Forest where researchers come to conduct their research and tourists come to witness the beauty of natural mossy forest. Cameron Highlands will be crowded on weekends and public or school holidays.

Taman Negara

Kuala Tahan National Park is the largest national park in Peninsular Malaysia. It is famous for its lush tropical rainforest, variety species of birds, insects, clean river, a variety species of wildlife and the indigenous tribes. Visiting indigenous tribes could be the best experience for you can see how they make their living in the jungle, which is totally different from how we make living in the cities. Other than that, you can also try night jungle trekking where you will get to see few nocturnal animals. The dry season runs from February to September, which is the best time to visit the park. The peak tourist season is from April to August.
