Langkawi International Airport is an airport located in Padang Matsirat, Langkawi. This airport was the airfield of Japanese army in 1945 and also for the British army. Nestled within Padang Matsirat, approximately 15 minutes away from Langkawi Island’s popular Pantai Cenang and Pantai Tengah stretch, the airport bears the requisite airport facilities and maintains its no-frills features. Besides that, It serves as a venue for the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA) which is an international aerospace event for aviation industry and aero performances for the public. In 2015, the airport handled 2,336,177 passengers and 30,853 aircraft movements. There are also direct flights available to Langkawi from Penang, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Hat Yai, and Phuket.There are many flights such as Air Asia, Malindo Air, Malaysia Airlines and Firefly that come from both Subang Airport and Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2. From Subang Airport in Petaling Jaya, it takes around 1 hour and 15 minutes while it takes only 55 minutes from Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 to reach Langkawi International Airport.
Also known as Seven Wells, this waterfall is named after the seven natural pools along its path. The folks once said that fairies used to come down to the pools to bathe and frolic. There are 2 viewing areas at Telaga Tujuh which are the lower area is at the base of the waterfall and the higher area is where the 7 pools which you can bathe in the pools and even slide down the slick rock between them. Visitors are advised to be careful when climbing around 350 steps which can get quite slippery when wet. It is safe to swim in the pools and water flow is not very strong. There is also a jungle trekking course available at the site which will lead you through a trail of up to 2,500 metres up 2 different mountains.

The Base Station is conveniently located at the foothill of the Machincang mountain.From here, visitors will be taken up to the cool Machincang mountain via the cable car system.
