Love palm Bungalows, good location, just a few minutes away from busy street, it’s quite and surrender by mountain and garden, in the evening you can see the stars and hear river sounds! Robert is a excellent host, he provides good priced accommodation, comfortable bed, firm pillows and clean sheets, you can rent motorbike from him and also he provide other transportation to and from other places, I really liked 50000 rp one way to Kelimutu, the breakfast was delicious, including banana pancake, mix fruit, coffee, tea, also you can refill large bottle water for 3000rp, it helps waste too many plastic bottles, the dinner was delicious and big portion! The conversation around dinner just super, you can meet different nationality and share travel experiences! If I got chance back to moni I differently will back to palm Bungalows! We had a lovely time at the Palm Bungalows. Robert and his family were lovely hosts, and all the pets were a special highlight! Moni is a beautiful place to be based, and there’s some amazing things to be seen on this island. The accommodation is exactly as described (if you’re looking for 6* resorts you’re probably in the wrong place), and Robert is extremely helpful and friendly (it helps that he’s got amazing spoken English). We had a great time in Moni. Definitely do the sunrise trip (and the walk back down the mountain) to Kelimutu, it’s pretty stunning. The locals of Moni and Flores are about the kindest and fun people you could hope to encounter in the world! The bungalows is worth it for the banana pancakes in the morning alone!!

Great stay here. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the food delicious. They were overbooked, so I was given the option of money back or a stay in the basic bungalows with partial reimbursement. I chose to stay. Accommodation was basic (essentially camping indoors), but comfy and with all the necessities and extras (mosquito net, towel, toilet paper) that you don't always get in Indonesia. Thanks for the great stay guys!

Robert, his wife and Odi make you feel at home...dinner time was a great sharing experience...16 people from all over the world telling their adventures in Indonesia while eating so simple but delicious foo, buffet style. You have free coffee and tea as often as you want. Breakfast was also good. The rooms are basic, bungalows, ours was the only concrete room but needed some fixing in the bathroom because was too humid with water leaking from the walls and pumps... but good for the price... at the time we left Robert was building a new place to be the restaurant.

Stayed here for 5 nights. Very good all in one Coup. Nice little Bungalows, located not directly on the Main road, like all the other homestays in Moni, absolute awesome breakfast and food. Super helpful owner with brilliant english. Perfect! :-D

We booked online (the same day) and received the booking confirmation but when we arrived they told us that all the rooms were already full. They said sorry and refunded the money but we were left there without accommodation..

In the application available hot water when coming to the hotel there is no water flowing into the bathroom. not hot water. Though select this hotel is hot water, it was not available. Every time the officer was asked. Yes, later I will finally take a shower in the afternoon bathroom share. In the morning the chapter on the share bathroom turned out to be water-free. truly an unpleasant experience.
