The location is only a few light walks away from Tunjungan Plaza, which is nice. The room itself is nice and a proper rest is possible here. I applaud the shower too which has functioning partition door to separate it from the toilet. For this price, its really good!

It was a good experience staying here for 2 nights. all staff are helpful and always smile. the lobby smells good and the room is spacious. I will stay here if I visit surabaya again.

It was a great experience during stayed at midtown hotel Surabaya, I always stay here when I visit Surabaya. It is a nice hotel to stay. The rooms are neat and clean. There are smoking and non smoking on different floor. The staffs are very nice and friendly, helpful. Facility are in good condition. Aircond was working properly. Location is in the heart of city. Very recommended for the price. It worthy. Keep it up Midtown team

This is the first time I have found a hotel where you request cutlery but are told to take it yourself at the restaurant. I think this makes customers complicated! For laundry, it's very good.

The staff is very friendly and ready to help. Unfortunately, the facility is in dire need of renovation. Peeling of paints, missing drain cover of the sink, dirty bathroom wall beside the sink (I don't think this wall has ever been scrubbed thoroughly), bed sheets with holes, stained sofa with one arm almost falling off, holes on the curtains, noisy air conditioning. Breakfast choices (mostly Indonesian with only 2 Western options) are limited with most of the food served relatively cold. The street traffic noise is pretty loud. The Marvelous room (one on each floor on the same corner) is located at the front side of the hotel and right beside the neighbour: Black Owl night club. This night club plays loud music from 10pm on and even louder as the finale each night around their closing time at 3am. The music is even audible from the 16th floor on top of the traffic noise.

Spacious, comfortable room. It's just that the sheets are not changed every day. From the beginning of arrival, the sheets had black stains, when the room was cleaned, the sheets were still the same ones. Because we got a connecting room, the sound of people chatting next to us was really loud. Wanting to borrow a helmet from the security guard, they didn't give it to us, very stingy 😂 but I've been to Surabaya twice, both times I've stayed at this hotel 🙏🏻

AC is not cold...faded gray sheets..
When I brought a lot of stuff, the security in front of the door did not help open it, just looked at it.. After I bought food, the parking gate was closed, the security told me to open it myself.. I wanted to borrow a pen from the receptionist, I was told to get it myself downstairs
The tissue in the room ran out, I asked for it but there was none... (I stayed in a marvelous room type on the 16th floor)

almost every time I have an assignment in Surabaya, I stay in Midtown, the food is delicious, the location is strategic, the workers are friendly and of course it's always clean. This time the stay was a bit longer, the room was cleaned every day, the sheets and towels were always changed.
