everything good. no shananigans, no problems. wifi, ac, bathroom,shower...all working. Except that I got bitten by bed bugs while my boyfriend didn't :S
Oh and Mbah Mek is such a friendly and kind host!

I really enjoy my time here at mbah mek trawangan homestay. The owner was very kind and humble. The place is very homey, room is spacious, and clean bathroom. The breakfast is the highlight here, very tasty home-cooked meal (vegan friendly as well if you're into it). You can rent a bike for cheap price a day (but the bike is kind of old and rusty). You can get a cheap 5 hrs of 3 gili island snorkeling as well. The location is a bit far from the beach and bars but if you're looking for a quite place than this may be what are you looking for. Will comeback here again !

Had a wonderful 4 + 1 nights stay. The room and toilet was so clean, AC and TV also worked well. Quite far from harbour about 15 min walking, but it's alright. Yummy breakfast every morning. And the people in this homestay are very friendly. Very recommended homestay in Gili

I love this homestay. The location itself is in the mid area of the island, about 5-7 minutes walk from the port. The room is clean and comfortable. Facilities such as cable TV, AC, WiFi are perfectly enjoyable. The service is the best and very friendly. The breakfast is delicious too. The atmosphere around the homestay is very quiet so if you want to just sit and relax in the terrace, this might be the perfect place. Besides, they have cats too and they're so cute!

I regret staying here only a day .. First time I came here, I've been greeted by mbah mek's wife calling my name, on the street while searching the location of the homestay.. Mbah mek as the owner is very kind, friendly, and helpful.. As a matter of fact, they've been asked what time I wanted to take my (free) breakfast! Very pleasant, when other hotels were already set the breakfast schedule, I still can have breakfast whenever I want to take it .. Cleanliness is very good, there's beautiful garden that maintained by mbah mek himself, they gave me big liquid soap, and they have a cute cat that could be invited to play, TV cable and WiFi are awesome bonus.. I wish mbah mek had a little luck to make a path in his homestay with paving blocks so that no puddle if mud when it rains.. I wish you had all the good things for mbah mek and his wife .. The owner is friendly, the location is quite close to the main road of Gili Trawangan. Standard homestay room, clean and cold AC. Clean bathroom.
