Stayed at Cantik Homestay for 4 nights. This place is sanctuary for budget traveler: it provides clean room with aircon, comfortable bed, and refreshing running fresh water (though it has a quiet unique plumbing system that needs you to ask the staff to turn on the water pipeline so the water can flow). I enjoyed my stay here, Om Chris and Tante Lilly are a couple of nice and welcoming host. They helped me to arranged my boat trip and find a motorbike for me to rent. They only served snack - e.g small piece of pancakes or fried banana - for breakfast. So if you are big breakfast eater like me, you can find another option in town. But they’re located pretty central in Kalabahi so I think it wouldn’t be an issue. Overall, nice stay at Cantik Homestay!

Great deals for budget hotels... clean bed and bathroom.

Bed not comfortable, travelling w their car expensive, room not clean.

Just 4 walls and a roof with a bed ! No current water in the toilet and bathroom, just a bowl with water ! No towel ! No Wi-Fi ! No TV ! 310000 IDR, it's a shame !

Beautiful homestay is an expanded house and built with rooms with terraces. The bathroom is inside, with AC but minus the TV. The bathroom for a room that is located outside is rather small in size. The room inside the house is slightly wider and has better room conditions. In the middle of the house (outside) there is a large table where you can eat breakfast or chat. Towels not provided. There is no hot shower for bathing. If the water in the bathroom runs out, can notify the homestay manager to request more water flowing. Breakfast and coffee or tea or aqua are provided. Cold bottled drinks are also available (aqua, ultra milk and others). Here also provides motorbike rental (there are 2 motorbikes). Mr. Kris (Owner) and his wife are very friendly. We can ask for their help for taxis, rental cars / motorbikes, contact diving operators who are recommended, and others. This is very helpful for tourists who stay at Homestay Cantik. Btw, for rooms outside, the sound from neighboring rooms can be heard, except if the air conditioner is turned on.

There is no TV far from the place to eat.
