Depok

Depok in one of the city that is also part of JABODETABEK area. This megapolitan city used to be the location of the first Protestant Christian Organization during Dutch colonial. Nowadays, Depok is more renowned as the most prestigious universities of the country resides, the University of Indonesia. This university has a wide area that is cool enough for the locals to use it as a place for some exercise on the weekend, like cycling or jogging. Afterwards, enjoy the various cuisines from Sundanese, Javanese to Western in some restaurants along the main roads to Jakarta. Also visit the Old Depok area – bordering with Bogor – that has two historical sites, Immanuel Church and Depok Bell. Not to forget to complete your visit in some famous shopping area in Depok.
