Fill your energy before exploring the zoo with great breakfast at WANA Restaurant, Lounge & Bar. Mahouts have interacted and taken care of elephants their whole life, creating bonding experiences unlike no others. Watching them interacting with their elephants is a memorable experience. At Bali Zoo, you can take care of elephants alongside the mahouts. You can wash, brush, and train elephants with the mahouts. You can also try riding elephants in a gentle way, following the mahouts’ instructions. This is a rare activity you cannot get in many places in Indonesia. Mahouts will also teach you about the best behaviors when interacting with elephants. They include basic vocal instructions, controlling the elephants, and the best ways to mount and dismount safely. You must make a reservation at least 48 hours before your visit to join this activity.
The petting zoo is open for children and adults. You can interact with various animals, such as rabbits, deer, and horses. The petting zoo is open daily from 10.00 to 17.00 local time. You can enter the petting zoo for free because it is included in the entrance ticket.
Do you know that many wild animals are active at night? Bali Zoo gives you taste of being a wild man in the past, surrounded by nocturnal animals. This night activity is suitable for everyone. You can do it with family members, friends, or romantic partner. The night zoo activities start at 18.00 and finish at 21.30.
