The room was neat and basic with no frills, but roomy and functional. Certain furnishing and fixtures were rather aged and not in tip-top condition (visible defects such as cracks in the bath tub), but nothing major and not a cause for complaint. However, the soundproofing of the room wasn't good-could rather easily hear the noises from the neighboring room. A major plus of this hotel is that it offers complimentary parking in its small private car park. The location is also almost unparalleled from a convenience/sightseeing/shopping perspective. An MRT station is at its doorstep and Dhoby Ghaut and Bugis are just a short distance away.

Hotel room is clean & cozy but not the laundry area. Staffs were friendly and accommodative. Good location with many choices for food. Overall, value for money.

I love every moment while staying there. Surprised my kids. For a night’s stay. They love every bit of the interior. Bathtub was a bonus. Everything about XY is artsy. Easy to get food too. We ordered the pizza, highly recommended 💕. Hotel staffs was very very welcoming and nice. Approachable and very friendly. We love the pool especially. We get to play in it for a quiet while. We’ll come back again for sure 💕. Thank you!

Got a free upgrade to deluxe room from the hotel staff as the room requested was not available. The receptionist Wendy was very polite as usual. Had been staying at the hotel almost every week.

The room was really spacious. It was a lovely experience especially since we wanted to try living in a shophouse. The staircase in the loft is very steep and narrow, might not be suitable for the elderly and children. The room would be even better if there was a bidet or a spray for the toilet bowl! Cleanliness in times of COVID 🙂

I had an amazing experience to stay for several nights in this hotel with my wife. The room was very clean and comfortable, spacious enough to put your luggage and other things. The location was super strategic, only 7 minutes walking distance from Bugis MRT station, Bugis Junction, and Bugis Street. Do not worry about foods and beverages as the hotel is located near Bugis and also Arab Street, where you could find various kind of food. One other thing that I noticed, there was no deposit to be placed up front when you stayed here. No need to buy mineral water (which is very expensive in SG) you could refill the water all the time, they provided it for free. Last but not least, it was very close to the Sultan Mosque, very beneficial for moslem visitor to have a prayer there. Definitely a worth trying hotel in SG, would really come back and recommend this hotel.
