How to Go   

By plane

From Manila, Roxas City is just one hour away by plane. Local airlines regularly have three (3) flights going to the Roxas Airport. There is also a four-hour flight from Cebu and a 14-hour flight from Tuguegarao. These are indirect flight which stop at Manila before flying to Roxas City.

By boat or ferry

The city is also accessible by sea as there are direct ferry transport from Batangas port. If you are coming from Bacolod, there are ferry transport going to Iloilo City and from there you can continue your travel to Roxas City by land.

By land transportation

There are buses from Cubao which takes the Roll on-Roll off (RORO) in Batangas and then lands in Panay and passes by Roxas City. If you are coming from Kalibo or Iloilo, there are buses or vans which can take you to the Roxas City Integrated Terminal. Should you wish to drive your own car once you are there, drive going to the Batangas port, then avail of RORO transport for you and for your car to get you to Roxas City.

Getting Around

The same as in most cities in the Philippines, there are jeepneys, taxis and tricycles which you can take to get you to places within the city.

Tourist Attractions

The celebration of Sindaya sa Halaran festival is a must-experience event when going to Roxas City. It is a culmination of activities which showcase the spirit not just of Roxas City but of the whole province of Capiz.

For the historical buffs, the birthplace of the former Philippine President Manuel Roxas is a must-visit place. It is located a few blocks away from the city hall. The Moro Towers in Sitio Nipa and Ang Panubli-on or the Roxas City Museum are other sites to visit.

Lastly, to admire the natural wonders and the environmental-friendliness of the city, visit the Culajao Eco-Park and the Hortus Botanicus, take the Cadimahan River Tour, and explore the Olotayan Island.

At first impression, visitors would think there are no night activities in Roxas City. But walk around for a bit or ask a local and you will find Distrito Kitchen + Bar, The Wayfarer Bar and Restaurant, the Seaport Café and many others to spend your night with drinks, music, and even company.
