Room was dirty. Walls have stains. The sheets were dirty as hell. Lobby and hallways have no aircon and ventilation. And no parking.

    Villa in Pampanga

    About

Pampanga is known as the culinary capital of the Philippines. From the world famous sisig to more obscure delicacies such as fried grasshoppers, Pampanga has certainly mastered its craft. It is also home to two Philippine presidents, and more importantly, hundreds of cooks.

While the food is certainly a good reason to make your way to the province, Pampanga also has quite a few must-sees and must-dos for every traveler. Home to the Clark Freeport and Special Economic Zone, a former United States Air Force base, this area is a quiet and well-developed land filled with duty-free shops and little stores with imported items. If you find yourself in Angeles, on the other hand, you can see an interesting mix of old and new with heritage parks and modern business establishments rolled into one lively city.

    Why book Villas in Pampanga?

With a storied province such as Pampanga, there are certainly many things to do when traveling here. From the infamous Mount Pinatubo to the original hole-in-the-wall sisig restaurant, you will have no shortage of experiences there. Whether you are traveling solo or with a group, renting a villa in Pampanga will always be a more comfortable option as there is usually more than enough space for everyone.

    Angeles City Pampanga

Rental villas also provide comfortable beds and in-room amenities to make your stay noticeably better as they are built to be more than just for one night. Villas are designed to provide you and your companions with a home away from home feel as guests will be treated to a place with a more personal touch.

    Types of Villas

Similar to choosing a hotel room, villas would also come in different sizes and features. Here are a few options to narrow down your choice:

    DM Residente Villas

  • Family Villa - If you are traveling with family or friends, you should consider staying in a family villa in Pampanga as this can fit large groups of people to make your stay more comfortable. Family villas are thoughtfully designed and come with multiple rooms in order to give each guest their own private space as well as a common area where everyone can gather.
  • Poolside Villa - As Pampanga is landlocked, beaches are quite a drive away. But this does not mean, you cannot enjoy the water. The province has a number of resorts that offer poolside villas for guests who love swimming and soaking up the sun. Pool villas for rent in Pampanga are great for guests with young children as they will love being steps away from the fun.

  • Pampanga Attractions and Activities

While Pampanga is famous for its gastronomy, it is also home to many beautiful sights. Here are places and activities you can’t miss out on, especially if this is your first trip:

    Mount Pinatubo Angeles

  • Visit Mount Pinatubo - In 1991, the Mount Pinatubo volcano erupted after 600 years of inactivity affecting the lives of hundreds of people and causing millions of pesos in damages. Today, what remains is a beautiful crater lake that can be visited. Nearby, a field of old volcanic ash (“lahar”) can be traveled through using a 4x4 vehicle.
  • Have a feast at Aling Lucing Sisig Restaurant - No visit to Pampanga will be complete without eating in the original sisig restaurant in Pampanga. It is in that restaurant that sisig was first created and served. Many upscale Filipino restaurants in Manila have made their name serving their own versions of sisig, but none carry the weight of Aling Lucing’s.
  • Join the fun at Aqua Planet - Claiming to be the largest water theme park in Asia, Aqua Planet is definitely a must visit for those looking for active fun. The establishment boasts state of the art facilities as well as long water slides to ensure that everyone has a fun time, regardless of age.

  • Getting Around

The nearest airport from Pampanga would be the Clark International Airport, which is approximately 40 minutes away by car.

While a railway system is still being constructed, there are still many different options you may consider when travelling around. Like any other city or town in the Philippines, tricycles and jeepneys are easy to come by and the best option for short-distance travels.
