How to Get to the Sweet Cili Hotel

Since the Sweet Cili Hotel is located in Georgetown, the access to the place is easy. The drive to the hotel from the exit of Penang Bridge on the island is just ten minutes or so. For those who are driving from Kuala Lumpur to Penang and the Sweet Cili Hotel, the whole trip will take almost four hours to complete via the North-South Highway. Crossing the Malacca Straits to get to the Penang Island is possible by either using the Penang Bridge or taking the famous Penang Ferry. Travelling to Penang Island is also possible by bus. Express bus services are available from most cities in Peninsular Malaysia and for those who are from Kuala Lumpur, the trip will take about five hours. All of the express buses will stop at the Sungai Nibong Express Bus Terminal that is about ten minutes away from the Sweet Cili Hotel. Penang Island has its own international airport, located at the southern tip of the island. The Penang International Airport handles flights mostly coming from Kuala Lumpur International Airport and major cities in Malaysia. There are several international flights coming from neighbouring countries such as from Indonesia and Singapore. The Penang International Airport is twenty minutes to the Sweet Cili Hotel.

There are only three types of room at the Sweet Cili Hotel. Its first room is the Single room. It is perfect for those who are travelling alone. The Single room has a 12.5-sqm room, with a Super Single-sized bed. The rate for the room starts from RM 113. The Double room at the Sweet Cili Hotel is a 16-sqm room with a Queen-sized bed and it starts from RM 187 a night. The biggest room at the hotel is the Family Loft room. It is a duplex-style room with a total space is 37-sqm. Two Single-sized beds are on the lower floor with another two Single beds or a King-sized bed located on the upper floor. The Family Loft room starts from RM 311 a night. All of the rooms at the Sweet Cili Hotel have their own private bathroom. Each bathroom is complete with hot water shower, toilet and complimentary toiletries.

The rooms at the hotel are fully air-conditioned and have ceiling fans too. The rooms have the same basic in-room amenities such as a writing desk and a chair, a television set and a safety deposit box. Drinking water is available at the shared pantry of the hotel.
