Tiroi Komuter Station is a landmark of commuter train station situated next to the small housing estate of Taman Tiroi in the state of Negeri Sembilan, seven kilometres away through Jalan Labu. It forms part of the Tanjung Malim to Gemas route operated by Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTM), being the fourth last stop for southbound commuter trains serving the town of Seremban, before the Sungai Gadut station which is located 18.4 kilometres away.

Named after the nearby town of Tiroi, this station was built around 1995 to replace the old Tiroi station that was destroyed by communists during the 1948-1960 Malayan Emergency. This station has a two platform train design, with facilities to purchase tickets in the form of vending machines. There is also a ticket counter, but it is typically empty most of the time, considering this station serves a smaller amount of people compared to other busier stations. Similarly to all other small train stations along the line, it is placed along two lanes of railroad designed for trains travelling northbound on one side and southbound on the other.

Besides Tiroi Komuter Station serving the Seremban Line, other stations include Seremban, Senawang and Sungai Gadut going south and Labu and Nilai going north. The Tiroi Komuter Station is located in the northern part of Seremban just before reaching the small town of Labu, alongside Jalan Labu.

How to Get There

By Car

People driving from Kuala Lumpur may drive through the North-South Expressway (PLUS) / E2 exiting at Bandar Ainsdale/Labu before continuing the journey towards Tiroi Komuter Station. The journey could take up around forty-five minutes depending on the current traffic situation.

By Train

From Kuala Lumpur International Airport, visitors can catch the Express Rail Link (ERL) train which goes to KL Sentral/Bandar Tasik Putrajaya/Cyberjaya/Salak Tinggi/KLIA route. There, one can board the Keretapi Tanah Melayu (KTM) southbound coach and stop by the Tiroi station before opting for public transportation to go around the area.

By Bus

The nearest express bus terminal is located at Terminal One, Seremban. Take the trip directly to Seremban from Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) terminal using express bus services such as Sanwa Tours, KPB Express and Kesatuan Express. From here, hop on a local route bus to Tiroi Komuter Station.
