The location of the hotel is quite strategic, near Superindo minimarket and bakmi kadin. The room we stayed in was clean and quite spacious, warm and comfortable. The hotel staff is quite friendly and very helpful. Due to the pandemic so we got a discount on the room rate. Maybe we will stay at this hotel if we are on vacation in Jogja later. Good food. Clean room. I can upgrade my room to pool view for free. Thanks to receptionist!. Nice ambience. Staffs are awesome and helpfull. Near to malioboro, train station, dowa, gelato, Bakpia tugu . Angkringan across the street. Nice !! Special thanks to miss silvi who has helped us taking the picture. Wow pengalaman menginap yg tak terlupakan and magical experience stay with novotel suite hotel. Sebelum saya book hotel ada note kecil yg saya sertakan"honeymoon set up if its possible". I don't expect to much, but wow I was really amazed and appreciated what they did. Specially the housekeeping staff and team who set up my suite room, it's been mind-blowing. Me and my wife was loved it. They give us sureprised with cute animal folding which is little things but means a lot. And they give us nice pretty handwriting on the mirror on our anniversary. Thanks novotel suite for the experience that you gave to us. I was stay in suite 601. And also their room was nearly spotless. Good job.

First of all thank you for upgrade my room to superior twin room. The best location beside Malioboro street and easy to find. Near stasiun Tugu Yogyakarta. A lot of food street and restaurant, souvenirs shops nearby. On 5th floor there is angkringan open air good place for enjoy and relax in afternoon. The room is small but enough for 2 people. Good staff as well. Recommended budget hotel in Malioboro area.

I stayed for a night here for Jogjarockarta. For the price, I'd give this hotel 7/10. It is clean, it is located in a strategic place, it is neat and clean. However there are 2 notes I'd give for your improvement. I stayed in the 1st level room located in the right corner. I forget the number I do apologize. Could you please give an exhaust fan for the toilet? The air is not flowing there. I could see many musquitos died on the sink. And the most important is the waterways down the shower ' s clogged so I had to pause watering for few moments to manage the overflow. Then the 2nd is your breakfast. I swear there ' s only 2 main menu available, ayam kecap and tumis kacang panjang. Not even fried/boiled eggs or gudeg or anything that can add up those main course. And it tastes so plain. For 700+K hotel, my expectation is the same as any 4 stars. However, let me know if you have fixed this and I'd gladly give you remaining 3/10 I took.

Room was inadequate, but could be great with minor changes. Beautiful heritage house, the premium room is huge and nice. Nice people. Ok location. Unfortunately, the air conditioner room had no window panes. No mosquito net either. The windows are directly facing a through street, so passing vehicle noise is uncomfortably loud, just like being in the street. Noise is intermittent and so high that you can't sleep at all without earplugs, and it's annoying in the daytime too. Mosquitos could be a problem (no net), and also smoke (no glass), but it was tolerable for me, noise was the main issue. From what I could see, this seems to be the case with all the air conditioner rooms. Air conditioner worked fine (surprisingly, despite no window glass), but the unit is positioned right above the bed, blowing in your face as you sleep, with no way to rearrange it. Easy to get a sore throat. Wi-Fi worked, but fairly slow and cutting out occasionally. It would not take too much work and investment to make this into a great, 10/10 room. For now, avoid.
