Excellent japanese restaurant.
I went here for a business meeting and dinner. The place really impressed me. good spacious arrangements of tables. Music was not loud so we could talk and discuss without getting distracted by noise from other tables or music. that was great. food selection was good and size of the portions was decent and as recommended. food taste was good too. A good selection of wine by the glass or by the bottle. Service was a bit slow, I felt, but that gave us plenty of time to talk and discuss. Maybe intentional !!!

One of the best Japanese food in Jakarta
I love yoshi izakaya, especially the teppanyaki one! I ate the kobe beef and it was the best thing I've ever had. The beef was really juicy and the ingredients soaked in perfectly. The chef also gave us an incredible fire show while cooking the teppanyaki. Will totally go back here sometime :)

Teppanyaki is ok
We tried a Teppanyaki dinner here recently. Despite its name, I would not consider this an Izakaya. It is not casual enough. It’s your typical semi fine dining restaurant in a hotel. We ordered the Australian wagyu beef special which also comes with a selection of fresh seafood (oysters, scallops, jumbo prawns and lobsters), a simple salad, mushroom soup, fried rice and a choice of macha ice cream or sliced fruits. We made an extra order of deep fried saba (mackerel) and fried salmon skin. These two are delicious as appetizers. I found the prepared teppanyaki a bit salty. The wagyu beef is not as tender as I thought, but not to bad. Service was excellent. The staff were very attentive and quick. The place was dimly lit but cozy. We were there on Saturday night but the place was almost empty. Tips: if you want the chef to do the flambee, you need to tell him in advance.
