Ubudians on food hunting, in the Senz hotel
As subject, we went there the 8th of jan, at around 13:40 pm, first thought about dim-sum, but not such goodies, so ordered chinese platter and duck, charsiew. First ordered beer and lemongrass tea, which took 18 minutes, whilst the place was empty. The lemongrass tea tasted like plain water, and told the waiter how to prepare it. Ordered our meal waiting time was another 36 minutes and incomplete not as shown on menu photo (missing the salad) moreover the charsiew was hard not edible. Prices are too expensive comparing to 4 stars resto in the village. How can mgmt charged 400 thousand Rp. plus 21 % tax and service charge for a bottle of Hatten red wine.Waiter Ketut Sudarma was good but food were utterly disappointing and not worth the price charged. Shall not return unless improvements made. Asked the GM but not present, nor the restaurant mgr.

The food came out cold
So this was the biggest dissapointment of our trip in Bali. Great hotel but for the food we waited about 1,5 hours before it came out cold. The fish was ok but still cold. Rise was cold and beef and chicken satay was both cold and tasteless. Word of advice, don't eat here as there are so many better places in Ubud to eat.

Delicious Indonesian and International Food in Ubud
The Yonne Restaurant in the SenS Hotel is awesome. A lot of food and drinks I can order, starting from Balinese rice, appetizers, desserts, etc. The portion is big enough that I don't get hungry almost the whole day. They have breakfast, lunch, dinner, and even tea time package. Don't miss the Balinese Rice and the Duck Rice at Yonne Cafe! They are very delicious, and the portion is good enough for the hungry travelers! Buffet at the breakfast is also nice. I love their Couscous! And those cakes at the display counter are tasty. It is good for tea or coffee time. Thanks to the chefs there who always serve the right food for me!
