not so good
Avocado toast is really good! beverages is ok, middle quality. but cleanness... it was unpleasant to watch how bucket with dirty water from kitchen was empty on the ground near customer's tables. That's why, will not come back again.

Quiet little restaurant tucked away behind Bintang
I have been staying Ubud for two weeks in a villa opposite the Bintang. The villa owner was raving about Yellow Flower so we thought we would give it a go. It's tucked away in a maze of alleys and paths behind the Bintang supermarket, but after a few wrong turns we found it. I have been coming to Ubud for years but I didn't know this part of it at all and found rather charming. Yellow Flower has got about 10 tables and almost all of them were taken when we got there at about 12:30. Most of the tables are under cover but there are a couple outside. You get a nice view out accross rice fields with the odd rooftop. It has a reasonable choice of inexpensive dishes. I had a local chicken dish and my wife just had some fried eggs and some corn fritters. I had a Bintang and my wife had a coconut and it came to about 200,00 0. I will definitely pop in again - maybe for breakfast. I would probably be a bit more cautious going at night because the paths are narrow and there are some long drops!

A great place for breakfast
It can be a bit of a challenge finding this place, but it's worth the search. I had breakfast there: bread with avocado and feta cheese, which was good and a really nice watermelon slush ice. But the best part is the setting. It's a beautiful little corner in Ubud with a nice view and atmosphere. Highly recommended!
