Google the risks of serving food on WOOD
To be fair, it appears now that wood is the new look in many restaurants. Here, I ordered a pumpkin soup. It was served in a worn, cracked wooden bowl. Dare I eat it? Before being completely aware of the danger I did eat it. The flavour was okay, yet my common sense was being tested. Bacteria have plenty of room to hide, as wood is permeable due to it's porous surface, allowing bacteria to move from the surface down into the grain. Bacteria also hides in small cracks and in divots created by knife cuts. Another concern, deforestation, particularly here in Indonesia where the forests have been depleted from many years of illegal logging.

Nice relaxed spot for food and drinks
We are staying at the attached Sapodilla Hotel and have had breakfast here daily. Nice comfortable chilled spot with great service by the lovely waitresses. A great range of breakfast items at reasonable prices and good taste. Would recommend

ordinary fish meal
The fish meal I ordered was not up to scratch. The service not great (staff moslty just chatting). I could not really recommend this place other than the seating.
