Lovely place and setting - but promised much more than it delivered. Food took over an hour to come then the fish was off. It was mushy and had a horrible texture. They apologised and admitted it wasn’t fresh today. Really disappointing as they are right on the beach. My partner had a smoked tuna sandwich which looked ok but had bits of bone and fish gristle and loads of thick slices of raw onion. I don’t like giving bad reviews but I also don’t like it when places try and palm off old fish on tourists. We both now feel sick. Be warned this place may not deliver on its initial promise.

By the sea.
Tastful and price worthy. Nice location by the sea. A pedestrian walkway in front that passes a lot of fishing boats. Nice and calm place. Recommended. No alcoholic drinks or wine. Only beer.

A very special place!
Warung Tasik is mainly a Restaurant with has a very nice atmosphere! You can sit on wooden benches right next to the ocean, watch sunsets, sunrises and the local saltfarmers doing their work. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and if you ask, they explain you the process of salt farming or show you the local fish farm "lini" where they grow tropical aquarium fish. Snorkeling on the shore is very beautiful as well with lots of fish and corals. The food they serve is very fresh and made with locally grown organic ingredients. They have a stone oven prowered by a wood fire on which they make delicious pizza. Warung Tasik also has a room as an accomodation. It's kind of a treehouse with a small balcony, aircon, two seperated bathrooms and a very nice view! Everything is very clean and compfortable. All in all, if you are looking for a rather remote place with authentic local vibes which is still nice and compfortable, Warung Tasik is the place to stay at!
