Amazing Cooking Class
We spent a few days in Lovina last autumn and had dinner two times at Warung Jegeg and attended a cooking class. The food was excellent and affordable, it was a joy to eat there. It seemed very authentic. The cooking class was eye opening and a lot of fun, we learned so much. We had a private cooking class for 2 people and a tour to the market. We bought everything fresh and made everything from scratch (including coconut milk!). Everyone attending the cooking class was allowed to select two dishes from the menu to cook. When in Lovina this restaurant and cooking class is a must, we loved it.

Fabulous food and cooking class
This Lovina warung is a must visit if staying in the area. My partner & I, with our family enjoyed a wonderful home cooked Balinese lunch. Seven of us ate and the bill was only 500k rupiah including 2 drinks each. Everything is prepared from scratch on the premises and Wayan is an absolute delight. The menu is varied and the prices are low. I can safely cite Wayan’s chicken sate as the best I have eaten in Bali (& I have eaten a lot!!). We enjoyed it so much that we booked her cooking class a few days later. This was a brilliant experience, we traveled by scooter to Singaraja market to buy the ingredients then back to the Warung to make the food under Wayan’s watchful eye-great fun! Highly recommended on both counts and we wouldn’t hesitate to return if we come back to Bali.
