Not as good as previously and menu less extensive!
The food just wasn't as good! My husband ordered the chicken curry, but it was a whole, rather dry, chicken leg. His curry sauce was good, but a small amount. I had chicken betutu, which I've had before in many places in Bali. My chicken was also a whole leg and very dry. The sauce was nice. I asked for no rice, just the vegies, but got a HUGE mountain of vegetables, I like lots of garlic and chilli, some wouldn't, but the vegie serve was a waste for one person; way too much. Service was a bit slow this time. Disappointing after our previous visits here.

Buy the fish from the market and asked hawaii to cook it for you
I was travelling with my husband family and in total there we 17 pax. I like kedonganan beach area. While some of us were buying the fish, squid, crab, shrimps, etc in the nearby fish market. Me and my niece and nephews went to play around on the beach. It was sunny so it looks nice and fun. Not too crowded as most of the people are in jimbaran. However you can see several local fishermen boats. Anyway hawaii restaurant is not far. Go outside of the beach area, turn right and it's across the gas station. The place is small and simple but it was cozy enough. After we bought all the stuffs from the market we asked the rest to cook it for us. And it was good. It took sometime since my mom in law bought a lot! But worth the wait. I'd suggest this for a cheaper alternatives. I guess for 17 pax with 2 kilograms of fishes, shrimps, crabs, squids, and the cooking thingy it cost around 1,1/1,2 million IDR (around $100) if i am not mistaken. It is also a much local and humble experience, so I'd recommend this one.
