Our guide took us here for lunch. Reasonable , but not extensive menu of Indonesian and Indian dishes , but lacks European. Husband took ‘angry duck and I took ‘ angry chicken’ The Only thing we could think about the ‘ angry ‘ bit was that it was served with 3 chilli sauces. Also served with a small side salad and green beans- cold of course and very greasy. (As I think they had been previously fried. ) On the menu it said served with steamed rice ,but we asked to change this for French fries and they accommodated that . The restaurant serves beer and soft drinks. Prices for food and drinks are reasonable. Premises are clean as are the toilets.

Local recommendation but very poor
Right on a mosquito infested creek surrounded by main road and unkept rice paddies this place was terrible. Food very expensive and drinks repoured into re used soft drink bottles. Food was okay with the squid a highlight. They handed around mosquito repellents as the sun went down. Do not go there!

Overpriced and mediocre tourist trap
After visiting Tanah Lot temple, we requested the driver to bring us to a place for lunch. This was how we ended up in Warung Gueek. Anyway, the cheapest lunch item on the menu was around 90,000 rupiah and it was just some grilled chicken with some rice. We also ordered another chicken dish that was about 280,000 (which is meant for 2 person to share). Anyway, there really isnt much options because anything else was in the range of 100,000 - 200,000. For this price, the food was really below average. For 5 adults, our meal came up to about 720,000. The restaurant was crowded with a lot of other tourists who were probably also “herded” there by their drivers. The other reviews about this place being too expensive are accurate and real. Avoid this place unless you are feeling rich today.
