New experience in Sanur
Humble people, great staff, amazing music, remarkable good food. Love the concept of donation based and making sure none goes into waste. Please donate generously if possible. This is a definitely must go visit for me if I'm around Sanur area.

A must-visit in Sanur
We made a point of visiting this warung after meeting the owner who had been catering a retreat I attended. It was absolutely fabulous: charming, tasty and great staff (not to mention a unique concept). I was in Bali for close to four weeks and would say this was as memorable as anywhere I visited. Wholesome, pure food. I highly recommend going if you are in Sanur. And, for those who can afford it, please do pay a little extra. There was a backpacker behind me who was on his third plate when I left. I know what it's like to be traveling, hungry and broke....felt it was my duty to pay for him and myself.

One of my favourites
This café is one of my favourites. It is run by two charming brothers (their mother owns it) in their 20s. The food is a fabulous vegetarian buffet (but get there early while there is still plenty of choice) and you pay by donation. There are guidelines for what to pay, but in the end it’s up to you (so be generous!) This place is very relaxed and inclusive and has a great atmosphere. There was live music on both nights we went. The first time we saw an AMAZING band playing called Tabasco Jam, with a fabulous lead singer. Don’t miss it if you get the opportunity to see them.
