Back to Kampoeng
I have been here for several times and it has never failed me (unless this place is packed with costumers and the service will take time). As a local guy, I think this place has tried its best attempt to cook Indonesian cuisines. It provides various dishes from veggie to meat, chicken to seafood. My favorite is Kangkung Hotplate and Salted Egg Baby Buncis. As per tonight, I tasted something new (although it has been a while on the menu). Gado-gado is good where the nuts and the kaffir lime paste mixed really well. The Tamie is also good. The Kailan is great but it could use less salt. Soto has spices yet so mild. The staffs are friendly and the atmosphere of the restaurant is really calming. Definitely will be back to be back to Kampoeng, again, eventually.

Cheap, delicious, friendly waiters
We've been here couple of times and this is our family's favorite restaurant. It offers simple seafood/Asian food and they are very tasty. The portion is rather small though.. so if you are a big eater you might want to order double.. the prices are on the lower side so you won't get broke! We were there with our 9 months old and the waiters were very friendly playing with the baby.

Can't go wrong
We have been coming to Bali now for the past 8 years on holiday and eaten in many different restaurants, every year we have come here and eaten several times during our 3 weeks in Bali and never have we had a bad meal. The value is second to none and always perfect. Sometimes you have to wait a little, but this is due to the fact that the place is always very busy. There is no Wi-Fi, but this not such a bad thing as it encourages people to talk to each other and not have their heads buried in their phones. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed, and we are always well looked after. This is the cheapest place we have found so far for the local beer Bintang.
