Interesting decoration average food, smelly glasses
After wondering around the tourists streets and checking menus around we choose these one as the restaurants seem really nice, we had to wait a little for a table but nothing major. The food was okay but the drinks were awful we order two teas and the jars were really smelly so we ask for spare glasses to pour the teas and they were stinking still, we had our food and left all the teas there. Staff was friendly and the decoration was really cool. Will come back but please sort the glass washers

A tad expensive but rendang was lovely
I went to this restaurant with 2 friends after wandering up and down the touristy road and finding all the restaurants there (including this one) to be comparatively over priced (relative to the other places we’d been in Ubud). However all 3 of us had the rendang and thoroughly enjoyed it, I had the vegetarian version with jackfruit and my 2 friends had the beef. It was the only time in our 2 week trip around Bali that we came across the dish and I am glad we did. The decor is interesting but fun and it looks very pretty from the outside. The price is further inflated by the tax and service not being included on the menu prices, a common annoyance I found around Bali. Overall we were impressed with the food quality here but it is not necessarily a good choice for those on a budget as there are some absolute fantastic authentic food places in Ubud if you venture outside this particular road.

Great indonesian food.
Ok so we ordered way too much because we just couldnt choose! Soto ayam was perfect with a little kecap manis, emping, lime and rice. Opor ayam was great too (very filling) , rawon a super beef soup (maybe too large) and pad thai like noodles (forgot the name) was very tasteful. Things they can improve on: bring dishes to the table in phases because tables are small. Prices are a bit too high. Staff: the elderly woman is so friendly.
