Western food in a Balinese setting
This hidden gem is perfect for tourists that want to try eating in an Indonesian warung without the worry of disliking the food. The restaurant was full of local families (which is always a good sign about the food) and it is very cheap! They didn't have any English menus, but you get the gist when a lot of the words are similar or the same, and it wasn't even on tripadvisor but ought to be. My partner and I decided to go there as we fancied western style food without paying western prices and this place definitely delivered. We shared a margharita pizza and some fries and both had an iced lemon tea (which was one of the best we've had in Bali so far). The large pizza was approximately 10 or 12 inches, so you could probably eat one to yourself if you fancied but it was enough for us to share with fries as well. It cost us just over 70k, which is not bad for a pizza, fries and two drinks! They also served hot dogs, burgers, pasta and a few Indonesian dishes too. The music was an interesting choice of dance music and there were a couple of cats and a dog that wondered in and out a couple of times (typical for warungs in Bali) but the place was fairly clean and we didn't feel anxious about the quality of the food. The people that worked there were lovely too, even though they probably don't get many foreigners. We fully intend on returning before we leave the country!
