Nice food, smoke in the air
The restaurant has a varied menu with Indonesian and international dishes, and our food - I had the "filet minion" - was delicious, with a friendly service. However, the staff didn't manage to bring both main courses at the same time, although the restaurant was nearly empty. The atmosphere and decode of the place feels a bit sterile. What I really don't like is that they allow smoking indoors, despite local laws against smoking in restaurants. There is no separate smoking section, either. We asked for a table in the nonsmoking area, but a shirt while later, someone else sat at the table next to us, asked the waitress for an ashtray, got it and started chain smoking. Apart from the obvious annoyance, I always feel that if restaurants in Jakarta that allow smoking indoors can bribe the city's health inspectors to close an eye to this egregious violation, then they will also bribe the inspectors if there are other problems, e. g. with hygiene.
