We went here twice.
Fantastic food. Fun, funky, eclectic decorations. Extensive menu. We had the Pad Thai (best I've ever had with a terrific sauce on the side), Gado Gado, Mixed Satay and Mango Sticky Rice. They bring little peanut (or maybe it was soy beans, anyway, some kind of little nut) roasted with salt and a few other things. They made it inhouse and it was fantastic. Service is slow but we found this to be normal in Bali.

Authentic Thai Food
We stopped by as we were late and Ulu was close to our hotel. Very friendly waiter and a great atmosphere. We had the fishcakes to start. They were superb . My husband had the prawn curry served in a coconut. It was delicious and very authentic. I went local and had the Mie Goreng which was really good.

We were looking forward to having a nice Thai meal. Although there were no other visitors (about 6pm), we had to wait for a while. First, fish cakes arrived. They were tiny patties, defrosted and fried. No texture, no flavour, no freshness. To be fair, sweet and spicy sauce was delicious. Next, sweet & sour beef was seriously underwhelming: rice and vegetables. Surprisingly for the Thai restaurant, chicken cordon blue was very good. Green papaya salad was ok. Though asking 45 thousand for a bowl of vegetables..In the end, 16% service charge didn't make us feel better after this disappointing meal.
