The pizza here was excellent and the cost was reasonable. There is not a fantastic atmosphere but the surrounding area is vibrant.

Trying to please everybody but fails
We once loved tigerpalm in previous years, but with the new indenity crisis menu it has lost us. You can not be a burger, pizza, pasta, salad bowl and general Asian restaurant all at once and expect satisfied customers. We ordered a prawn arrabiata penne and the stir fried caramelised pork belly dishes. Both dishes are listed in the large plates section of the menu. The pasta dish was quite plain but at least it was a main size portion. However the pork was entree size( literally 10 x 1.5cm pieces an absolutely nothing else). When I raised my concern with the waitress that she is sure that this is a large plate size dish, I was pretty much told yes of course what’s your problem. And there you have it , we will never be back

No, No, No?! What have you done to Tiger Palm😱
Ok.... deep breaths.... Being a big fan of Sarong and the chef behind it, Tiger Palm used to provide a almost comparable experience to Sarong, in a more casual atmosphere. The Pan-Asian menu was an excellent taster tour of the best and popular dishes from Asia. Well executed, tasty in an interesting manner, served up in a great atmosphere surrounded by great interiors. See my previous review. Staff and site remains as it was - all very well; the new menu however is very disappointing. Pizzas and burgers, very short of wtf here? Slightly shell-shocked we attempted damage control by ordering some Asian inspired dishes, but if you are in to large heavy dishes in gravy, choice is now limited. We opted for the dishes below: 1) chilli soft shell crap: 👎🏻 symphony of deep fried substances ( not mentioned in menu as deep fried) 2) Catalonia shrimps: 👍🏻 Nice, but Tiger Palm ? ( no tigers in Spain) 3) Fish Tacos: 👍🏻 good, not Asian, but we were desperate. 4) Calamari: 👎🏻 weird batter with garlic pieces, OPT OUT! 5) Fried school prawns: deep fried, dry, and with horrible Anchovis (not announced on menu) All well presented, but nothing to do with Pan Asian cuisine. Tiger Palm R.I.P. Welcome to TGI Fridays Ex Tiger Palm style. W.I.R.? NO!
