Food is ok, drinks watered down
I have now eaten at the Alleyway Cafe twice now. Both times I have ordered a salad, which was good. But to drink this time I ordered a juice. The prawn salad I had was a bit spicy, so I ended up ordering 2 juices: first a pineapple juice, then a papaya juice. Indonesians love to add milk and sugar to their juices. I usually order them without the sugar and milk. This is the way I ordered my pineapple juice. I was so looking forward to my first sip. Unfortunately, I was hugely disappointed. The juice was so watered down, I could barely tell it was pineapple juice. Same with the papaya juice. Everyone at work always raves about Alleyway Cafe. As for me, I don’t ever care to return to eat or drink there again.

Cute cafe, delicious coffee and lunch
The iced coffee was delicious because the coffee was good and made well. We each had the Pumpkin Lasagne and it was great... Not too much but certainly enough to fill up. A small garnish salad would have rounded it off nicely. Inside are comfortable chairs and air conditioning. There is an undercover area out the back for smokers and those preferring to sit outside. Would recommend if you are looking for somewhere in Renon.

Pleasant atmosphere trendy meetup
Nice place to drop into for a relaxing coffee and good food from quick bites to salads, pasta and indonesian inspired dishes. Local hang out in this up market part ofv Renon near the embassies and government offices. The cold capucinno is delicious as was the pumpkin lasagne. Prices provide very good value and very clean toilets.
