Perfect for trying Indonesian cuisine
We were staying at d'Omah but they recommended we try this restaurant and we had several meals here and always popped in for mid morning drinks. Wide selection of dishes from traditional Indonesian fare to unusual tasty delicasies. Another highlight is their superb drinks menu. From Secang Punch to drinks infused with tamarind and lemongrass, this was a real find for the sheer variety alone. Lovely place to eat or drink as the sun sets. Staff always warm and friendly, loved this place.

Do try the special menu
Very delicious traditional Javanese food at fairly affordable price with a good range of selections. We were only able to try a few of their ala cart menu items because as in-house guest our meals were included in the room reservations. However, the few dishes that we did try were excellent such as the steamed cassava with coconut milk, fried pecel roll, and the fried sparrow which is a house specialty.

Ask for their 'special' menu
The restaurant actually called 'waroeng dahar pulo segaran' located inside tembi rumah budaya complex. We found this place by internet review and food bloggers. We actually came for their 'special' menu which turn out didn't printed in their a la carte. Ask for their special and they'll offer you 'burung emprit' / sparrow and squirrel. They got a few selection of cooling style for each protein. We tried the fried rice with sparrow and squirrel 'tong seng'. They both taste quite decent but not over the top. Aside from the food, they got a great rice field view and other unique tid bits like museum and gamelan.
