UTTERLY DISAPPOINTING SERVICE - if only I can give 0 or 0.5 on the rating
I am working in tea industry and needed to buy local loose leaf tea for visitors from abroad. After checking the Tea Addict’s website, I find out that they are selling premium tea from Java and Sumatra. Since I’m not sure if they are selling just the loose leaf tea itself, I called them to make sure. The man helping on the phone was Abdul and he said that they are selling the loose tea in small packaging (i.e. 50gr) and all teas on the menu are available in the café and I can simply come if I wanted to buy loose tea. He even encouraged me to come right away to the café to look at their products. And so I did! When we arrived, no body greeted us and there’s only 1 waiter in the bar (which turned out to be Abdul). After a few minutes wondering around ourselves, he came to us and I told him right away that I’m there to buy loose tea so he escorted us to the bar, to see the products. The bar was cluttered which I think even Abdul admitted, because out of the blue he said ‘we’re doing some cleaning up around here’ which I find ridiculously hideous because it was Sunday and I think you can’t be cleaning up on the day when visitors level is most likely higher than weekdays and also why on earth did you say something like that to customers?!! But anyway.. After looking at a few loose tea, I started to ask several questions such as the area the tea came from, the price, available packaging, date of production, date of packaging, which I think should be basic knowledge when you are selling tea (in a cafe called TEA ADDICT!). Unfortunately, no one (Abdul and another waiter) can answer any of my questions (in a convincing way) so out of desperation I (still) decided to pick and buy 2 types of tea. After waiting for about 15-20ish minutes, Abdul came out and said that there is ONLY 1 type of loose tea (out of all) AVAILABLE! At that time I was furious and asked what he meant over the phone when he said that all is available ??! and then he started making silly excuses which of course does not help the situation. So the available loose tea was White Tea which I (still, again!) decided to buy and it came in a plastic packaging inside a can. And as if things cannot get any worse, when I double checked, the can says ‘GREEN TEA’!! even if you cannot understand English, you can simply match the letter on the can and plastic packaging !!!! It feels like they really don't care about customer or the service they're giving for serious buyer ! and in this case the products are not cheap - 100k for 50gr loose tea and we also ordered 2 glasses of ice tea which cost 102k! the only fast service they gave us was when I asked for the bill ! and after we paid NO ONE IS SAYING ANYTHING, NOT EVEN THANK YOU and we just WALKED OUT OF THE CAFÉ WITHOUT ANYONE CARE !! Thank you TEA ADDICT for THE WORST SERVICE EVER ! that was my FIRST AND DEFINITELY LAST VISIT !

This place is GREAT
Absolutely dream cafe. Cozy sofa, fast internet wifi, dimmed, I almost slept at there. They are really serious with the name. They only serves ordinary black coffee, but have various tea. The tea should be much better actually to back the name, for me, it's not the tea that makes me addicted, but the calm cool ambiance of this place. Recommended for a meeting, or just to kill your time. Delicious croquette, must try it.
