I must admit that I am not a great fan of hotel buffet breakfasts, I prefer a la carte, so everything is cooked to order & hot. That said, the buffet breakfast offering at Four Seasons Jimbaran Bay is very good, with something to suit all pallets. The service is also very good.

Asian Tea eggs I had a light breakfast before my yoga session at Taman wantilan, at the Four Seasons Jimbaran Bay. The TW is overlooking the ocean, this restaurant specializes in Indonesian cuisine and serves breakfast and dinner daily. The TW is an open-walled venue, hence it is airy & bright. This rustic style of Taman Wantilan is complemented by a delightful buffet spread and 11 live-cooking stations. You will receive a road Map to guide you through the 11 live stations. I had Asian Tea eggs for my breakfast. The Tea egg is a typical Chinese savory food commonly sold as a snack, in which a boiled egg is cracked slightly and then boiled again in tea. It is also known as marble egg because cracks in the egg shell create darkened lines with marble-like patterns. I had a sample of Dal with chickpeas and one vegetable Samosa for tasting. The Indian specialty Chef, Anil Naudiyal is the man behind this flavorful cuisine. The Indian live station was full of authentic food. SEE photos.
