Craft Beer: Good. Food: Bad
We tried here for dinner as it was close to our airport hotel. The selection and quality of there beers was very good. We tried 5 or 6 different ones (only two beer drinkers). We also sampled many of their appetizers and entrees. They were bland, cold, and nothing impressive. I’d return again for the beer, but would likely visit one of the street vendors for dinner.

This quickly became a favourite haunt. When we visit in the afternoons the managers always take the time to come and chat. The beer is good and flavourful and there is nothing better than a beer slurpie (I promise) on a hot Bali afternoon. And their fried-rice gila delicious.

Okay for a swift 1
Popped into Stark for a quick beer while waiting for my partner to have a massage. It was very nice. I had 2 pints of their 1965 it was a nice refreshing beer which is locally brewed. Initially I thought 90k (about £4.50) per drink was a little high given most pints here are around 40-55k. However, after having 2 beers I was told that there was a buy 2 get 1 free offer running... so naturally I had a third! Good beer and friendly staff... a bit pricey when compared to other places but I suppose the the beer is good and locally produced. Nice place to stop in for 1 or 3 on the way into Kuta or after a long day on the beach and a break from Bintang and Bali Hai.
