Tasty Indo/Javanese food, unique, nice ambience/gamelan background music
From the outside, it looks present and has a bit of Javanese royal kind of feel. The moment you enter, you'll be welcomed first and foremost by this nice gamelan music. Inside is pleasant, clean, presentable and has the traditional Javanese vibes.. MEALS & DRINKS 1) Apparently the most famous (you can see from the name) is Sop Buntut (Indo oxtail soup), but we didn't taste that, so I won't give a review about that, but other online reviews seem good. If you are there, I think you shouldn't miss this one 2) We ordered Ayam Penyet (smashed fried chicken) mmm they were tasty and the mango sambal colek it's goooddd - but be careful it's pretty spicyyy. The Tahu/Tempeh goreng side dish is as yummy! 3) Drink : please try : a) Ice Lemon Tea - OMG, that's the tallest glass I've ever seen. They must attached 2 straws together for you to drink. Lol. It's fun - must try! Taste? Refreshing !! b) Es Sirkel : Sirsak (soursoup) and Kelapa (coconut) - niceyyyy and sweet-refreshing, presented to you in a coconut-shaped special bowl PLACE First floor is the normal seating area. Second floor, they have an enclosed/VIP room for events or meetings I believe AMBIENCE & SERVICE Nice Javanese music playing in the background, nice Javanese interior/deco, clean, good feel, nice friendly service. I loved it !! PRICING Mid range I should say. Suits the good quality fresh tasty food and drinks you will consume RECOMMEND & COME AGAIN? Yes, for sure !
